HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The motorcyclist who died in a crash at the North Bridge and Lyman Street intersection in Holyoke last week has been identified.

The Hampden District Attorney’s Office states that at approximately 2:40 p.m. on August 25th, officers were called to the area of North Bridge Street and Lyman Street for a report of a motorcyclist being hit. When crews arrived, they found a man suffering from injuries. The motorcyclist was brought to Holyoke Medical Center and died shortly afterwards.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 66-year-old William Brunault of South Hadley, Massachusetts.

The crash is being investigated by the Hampden District Attorney’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit in conjunction with the Holyoke Police Department.
