SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Georgia Department of Public Safety (GDPS) has released its activity numbers following the Labor Day weekend holiday.

Labor Day travel around the state saw: • 425 DUI's • 702 cases of Distracted Driving • 1,094 Seatbelt Citations • 284 Crashes Reported • 15 Crash Fatalities • 151 Injuries due to crashes • 36 Crashes as a result of being Under the Influence (UI) • 13 Crashes from CMV Involvement
