BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Ascension Equipment & Rental, in Gonzales, was recently acquired by Parish Tractor.

Parish Tractor was founded in 2012 by Lee Parish. The company stated, "The addition of the Gonzales location will enhance Parish Tractor's ability to serve the agriculture and construction communities in the southeast, offering an extensive range of equipment and services to meet their diverse needs."

This is the first location for the agriculture and construction equipment company in Louisiana. They also have stores in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.
