Amid reported problems at CRA call centres and months of job cuts , the agency has been asked by Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne to improve services within 100 days. Article content

“The service delays and access challenges Canadian are experiencing from CRA call centres are unacceptable,” Champagne wrote in a letter to Karina Gould, the chair of the House of Commons finance committee.

The letter was published on the social media site X on the morning of Sept. 2.
