CORVALLIS Ore. (KPTV) - A 29-year-old Corvallis man is facing multiple charges after police say he assaulted his girlfriend and attacked another man with a katana-style sword early Friday morning.

Officers responded around 4:26 a.m. Aug. 30 to a home in the 800 block of NW 23rd Street, according to the Corvallis Police Department. Investigators determined Seth Amos Grace hit 31-year-old Keenan Simone-Ballantyne in the leg with a sword, causing serious injury.

Police said the attack happened after Grace, Simone-Ballantyne, and Grace’s girlfriend, Nicole Buck, had been drinking together at Grace’s home. Earlier in the evening, while walking to a store for more alcohol, Grace allegedly punched Buck in the face during an argument, breaking her nose.
