ST. LOUIS — Robert Sheehan, 25, of Chesterfield, was the motorcyclist killed Monday night in a crash in the city's Tower Grove East neighborhood, police said Thursday.
Police said the crash happened just before 10 p.m. at Gravois and South Compton avenues.
Investigators reviewed Real Time Crime Center footage and said a 19-year-old man was running southbound across Gravois at South Compton when he was hit by a Yamaha Motorcycle traveling westbound on Gravois with a green light.
The collision caused the motorcycle to veer into the eastbound lanes of Gravois, police said. The motorcycle then struck a Dodge Dakota, which was stopped in the left turn lane of Gravois.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital
