ORLANDO, Fla. — Walt Disney World officials on Tuesday announced the closure date for DINOSAUR at the Animal Kingdom theme park.

The attraction will permanently close on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026 to make way for the park’s new Tropical Americas area .

Disney began its phased closure of the DinoLand U.S.A. area at the beginning of the year, as TriceraTop Spin and Fossil Fun Games both closed in January .

Tropical Americas is scheduled to open in 2027.
