ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former UFC champion Jon Jones is no longer faces charges for leaving the scene of an accident after the district attorney's office determined his alibi was credible.

Early on February 21, Taylor McClure was found in the passenger's seat of a car involved in a crash. She told police she was drinking at Jones' home in northeast Albuquerque and that Jones was driving her home when he crashed and fled the scene. Investigators say Jones told them that McClure was drinking at his house and she left on her own. He claimed that he was home the whole night. He said he didn't hear from her until the crash.

Jones was scheduled for a bench trial Tuesday, but his charge was dismissed.
