BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Bayou L’Ourse woman was arrested and charged after the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a primary school on Friday, Aug. 29.

Deputies investigated a reported disturbance at the Bayou L’Ourse Primary School that led to the arrest of Brooke Nicole Gambrell Rulf, 27. School administrators told investigators that Ruff came to the campus and threatened personnel.

Ruff was arrested at her home and charged with two counts of assault on a school teacher and one count of disturbing the peace.

She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on $40,000 bond.
