The Chatham school choir that sang on a video of Triumph’s classic hit, Hold On, with Canadian rocker Rik Emmett will be doing an encore – live.

The St. Angela Merici Catholic elementary school choir was asked to join Emmett and musician and songwriter Donna Grantis on during the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame celebration Sept. 7, music educator Jacquelyn McGlynn said

Emmett, his Triumph bandmates and Grantis, a former guitarist with music legend Prince, will be inducted during the ceremony.

The school choir, which McGlynn has named the Sammies (St. Angela Merici Music is Everything!) was in a video with Emmitt performing a new arrangement of Hold On released May 5 for the Coalition for Music Education in Canada’s annual Music Monday event.
