SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Windsor Forest football team will play the remainder of its season without their head coach.

CJ Frazier stepped down from the program, effective immediately. An email response inquiring about the situation from the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System said, "[We] just learned about this this morning."

The statement went on to say the school submitted a release to the district, which is currently under review.

Sources tell WSAV Frazier was not on the sideline for the Knights' most recent loss to Liberty County, 36-6.

After publishing this story, SCCPSS released a statement. In the release, the district stated Frazier informed the Windsor Forest administrative team on Aug. 28. He cited personal reasons.
