KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A pair of Kansas City Chiefs rookies appeared on the first injury report of the regular season.

Wide receiver Jalen Royals was a non-participant in Tuesday’s practice for the Chiefs, and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott was a limited participant, according to Kansas City’s shared injury report on Tuesday afternoon.

Royals has missed several practices -- and the Chiefs’ final preseason game -- due to knee tendinitis. Norman-Lott missed the preseason finale and has been limited in practice due to an ankle injury.

The Chiefs selected Norman-Lott with the 63rd pick overall in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft out of Tennessee. Royals, a Utah State product, was picked in the fourth round at 133rd overall.
