A drugs dealer found guilty of the revenge murder of a prison officer was described today as a ‘violent inhumane coward’ by his victim’s mother as he was sentenced to at least 45 years at Preston Crown Court.

Elias Morgan shot father of three Lenny Scott six times after staking out his home and the gyms he trained at.

Mr Scott had searched Morgan’s cell at Altcourse Prison and found a phone that revealed he was having an affair with a female prison officer.
