Richmond police on Monday identified a man who was shot to death over the weekend in the city's East End.

Detectives said Christopher Barlow, 47, was the victim of a homicide that happened Saturday morning in the 1900 block of Sussex Street in the Whitcomb neighborhood.

Police responded at 8:52 a.m. to a report of a person down. Officers found Barlow on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
