Hold your breath, make a wish, count to three … Valley Vonka chocolate bars are back! And inside three of those 1,000 chocolate bars is a golden ticket waiting to be found.

Each ticket represents a prize valued at $500 for the lucky ticket holder.

Valley Vonka was started by the Alberni Valley News in 2019 and is modelled after the story of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Here in Port Alberni, our Oompa Loompas work at Coombs Country Candy and they have been creating our special bars all summer. Now they are available in local businesses for a suggested donation of just $4.

There are three great prizes, one for each ticket, which will be randomly drawn. The prizes from our generous sponsors this year are:
