A local attorney is doubling down that law enforcement video capturing an overnight encounter with Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon during a domestic violence call is subject to public records law.

A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit seeking those records Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 2, citing compliance issues regarding how it was written. The plaintiff, Christle “CC” Dixon-Moreno, was provided 30 days to refile a complaint, which she had initially carried pro se, accusing the city of Orange Beach, Kennon and multiple city employees of improperly handling a records request and improperly blocking her on social media.
