Landus Cooperative has hired Eric Heismeyer, a former Bunge executive, as its new CEO.
Heismeyer, 51, takes over leadership of the large Iowa cooperative Wednesday, Sept. 3, the grain, chemical and agronomy company announced Tuesday.
Operating his own consulting firm for the past year, Heismeyer also held executive positions over 13 years at Bunge, the giant St. Louis commodities company. He also held leadership positions at POET, the South Dakota biofuels company, and Chicago-based ADM — Archer Daniels Midland Co., another large grain processing company.
