MARSHALL JUNCTION, Mo. (KCTV) - An 18-year-old from Missouri remains behind bars in Kansas after it was found that he was involved in a road rage shooting that caused a crash over the weekend.

Saline County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 29, indicate that Mason C. D. Mayhew, 18, of Boonville, has been charged in connection with the incident - in both Kansas and Missouri.

A probable cause statement filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, emergency crews were called to the area of I-70 at Marshall Junction with reports of a crash.
