COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said an 18-year-old has been arrested following an investigation into a series of burglaries, vehicle thefts, and weapons offenses.

Police said an arrest warrant was issued by CSPD’s Burglary Unit in June while the suspect was still a juvenile, and on July 15, another warrant was sought for a separate motor vehicle theft.

The offender was served during a court appearance, but police said he was released on a personal recognizance bond.

On August 20, police said detectives developed probable cause to charge the juvenile with another motor vehicle theft, and a warrant was obtained along with an increased bond of $50,000.
