Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro urged state lawmakers to return to Harrisburg and pass a bill restoring SEPTA 's $213 million budget deficit in a visit to Philly on Tuesday.
State lawmakers have been unable to reach a SEPTA funding deal , allowing the agencies' Aug. 24 deadline to pass and the first round of service cuts go into effect.
