EL DORADO, Kan. — Patrick Hall’s path to Butler Community College has been anything but conventional. From Houston high school football to Deion Sanders’ private academy, from coaching seven-on-seven teams in Texas to leading players across Europe, Hall has carried the game with him wherever he’s gone.

Now, the 30-year-old wide receivers coach is betting on himself at Butler, much like the players he mentors in the world of junior college football.

“I’m a vessel,” Hall said. “I know what I’m here for. I’m here to win, to pour into these kids, and to develop them.”
