BILLINGS, Mont. – The Yellowstone Art Museum (YAM) faces significant funding cuts after Yellowstone County Commissioners approved a new budget earlier today. The decision reduces the museum's budget from more than $188,000 to $50,000.

During the public hearing, tensions rose as community members voiced their concerns. One attendee expressed dissatisfaction, stating, "I just want to say shame on you...shame, shame, shame." Commissioner Morse engaged in several back and forths with those giving public comment throughout the meeting.
