CHEYENNE – A local man was sentenced to two concurrent sentences of three to five years in prison Tuesday for his involvement in a drive-by shooting this past December.

Demetrius M. Coletti, 45, was arrested on Dec. 27 after shooting at his sister’s boyfriend's truck. He then fled the scene, eluding police and initiating a high-speed chase that ended in his arrest.

Initial reports of the incident indicated that the boyfriend, Richard Martinez, was sitting in his truck when Coletti drove by and shot at him. Coletti was initially charged with attempted first-degree murder, a crime punishable by up to life in prison.
