The Mark Richardson Career Technical Education (CTE) Center will open its gates for this year’s Santa Barbara County Farm Day, offering visitors a hands-on look at student-led agriculture and career pathways that bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world skills.

From culinary arts to engineering, the CTE Center’s Farm Day stop will demonstrate how local students are preparing for careers in high-demand industries while giving back to their community.

Among the student ambassadors helping guide Farm Day tours will be Delta High School senior Sherlyn Mendoza, who has been involved with the event for multiple years through the ag program.
