KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office released its Labor Day weekend traffic statistics on Tuesday.

KCSO said there were a total of 25 crashes, five of which involved an injury, between 6 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Of those 25 crashes, the sheriff’s office said alcohol was involved in three of them, none of which had an injury.

Additionally, KCSO said there were a total of 479 citations, five DUIs and 62 other arrests. Deputies also assisted 24 motorists over the holiday weekend.
