Three CSRA lottery players win $50,000, as growing Powerball jackpot is yet to be won

CSRA (WJBF) - Check your tickets! Three lottery players across the CSRA in Georgia and South Carolina won $50,000 for getting close to the growing Powerball jackpot in the past week.

In Aiken, a ticket was sold that won $50,000 from the Sept. 1 drawing, with the numbers being 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 with the Powerball 5.

"Check your tickets if you played Powerball® with DoublePlay® at the Circle K Stores #5351 on E. Pine Log Rd," the South Carolina Education Lottery said in a statement on Tuesday.

In Georgia, a $50,000 ticket matching four numbers and the Powerball from the Aug. 30 drawing was purchased in Grovetown at the Food Mart on 5100 Wrightsboro Road. Another $50,000 ticket from the same drawing was purchased in Evans at The Pumping Station on 5142 Washington Road.
