LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -The Community Health Endowment of Lincoln’s interactive map of the city’s health data is rolling out its latest version.
Place Matters is a snapshot of the community health information specific to each Lincoln neighborhood. The available information includes access to prenatal care, average life expectancy, poverty levels and even the amount of kids in each area that are passing their fitness tests.
These results are released every two years, with Place Matters 6.0 now being made public.
The findings this year include that 4% more kids are passing their PACER fitness tests since the last report. That statistic saw a major decline after the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Community Health Endowment CEO Kate Bolz.
