WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa (KTTC) – The jury has found James Bachmurski guilty of 2nd degree murder.

This verdict came after about 4 hours of jury deliberation.

The sentencing date for Bachmurski is to be determined.

WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa (KTTC) – After attorneys from both sides presented their closing arguments Tuesday morning, the jury has begun deliberating in the murder trial against James Bachmurski. The 66-year-old Georgia man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 15-year-old Jade Colvin.

Colvin hasn’t been seen since March 2017 after she traveled to Iowa with her mother to live in Bachmurski’s farmhouse. To this day, her body has not been found.
