LYNDON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police have arrested a man in the case of a stolen register in the Northeast Kingdom.

State police say 32-year-old Dillon Hall of Lyndonville is the person who stole a cash register from a Lyndon convenience store.

It happened just after midnight at Nick’s Gas n Go on Monday.

Officers say they arrived to find the front door smashed in and a cash register missing.

They say security footage shows Hall breaking into the store and leaving on foot.

Hall was found in St. Johnsbury on Tuesday, and police recovered the cash register.

Hall now faces multiple charges and is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
