One person was injured early Tuesday in a fire and explosion at a home in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, that drew the response of the Massachusetts State Police bomb squad.
Several blasts were heard as a section of the home on Sagamore Drive exploded and went up in flames at about 1 a.m.
"Crews arrived on scene to a fully involved garage with multiple exposure," Dartmouth Fire Department Chief Tim Lancaster said. "The marshal's office did make a request for the bomb squad to come and check the contents of the garage."
Video from the scene showed a burned-out garage and a section of the home completely destroyed.
"I saw a package go flying in my backyard — looked a box of fireworks — literally flew into my backyard. It landed upside down, so it was shooting the fireworks into the ground," n
