MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The Blue Angels have arrived at Pease Air National Guard Base ahead of this weekend's Thunder over New Hampshire Air Show in Portsmouth.

The Navy's elite flight demonstration squadron will headline the show, marking their first New Hampshire performance since 2012.

At top speed, the Blue Angels reach 700 mph and fly as close as 18 inches apart.

The air show runs Sept. 6-7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
