FARGO — As controversy surrounds the new data center planned near Harwood, N.D., some are raising concerns about the fact that both mayors of Harwood and Fargo signed non-disclosure agreements, or NDAs, with the private AI company.

“Did the city of Fargo officials sign the NDA because they know it's a controversial project?” WDAY reporter Kjersti Maday asked.

“No, I couldn't comment on the specific specifics of that,” Fargo City Administrator Michael Redlinger said.

Redlinger could not give many specifics about the NDA the city signed with Applied Digital, the AI company behind the project.
