A man pled guilty to manufacturing child sexual abuse material and invasion of privacy after he was caught with video recordings of people undressing in the bathroom of his Jersey Shore home, police said.

David Lyons, 44, of Glenside, Pennsylvania, was arrested on July 21, 2024, at his home in Beach Haven.

Police said they received a report that a 15-year-old girl had been videotaped while she was taking a shower at a rental property, police said. Lyons then became a suspect since it was his home.

Police searched the home in Long Beach Island, where Lyons was living, and recovered several of his electronic devices, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said.
