Angelo Panzini netted a pair of goals as Middle Township blanked Absegami 2-0 in its season opener in Cape May Court House.

Miles Stafford made six saves as Middle Township (1-0) records its first shutout of the season.

Both goals from Panzini were scored in the first half. Guilherme Candido and Kyle Petit each recorded assists for Middle Township.

Middle Township has now won back-to-back season openers with shutout victories.

Absegami falls to 0-1.
