SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport’s public transportation system continues to evolve, now entering a new era of digital connectivity.

On Tuesday, SporTran officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the SporTran Intermodal Terminal to unveil a new mobile app that delivers real-time updates to riders.

This latest development follows a series of major improvements made by the transit system in the past 100 days. These include the launch of SporTran-City, the addition of a state-of-the-art simulator to train drivers, and the introduction of new buses into service.
