Born on December 10, 1944, in Schenectady, NY, to the late Donald Lansing and Dorothy (Whitbeck) Lansing Blair, Mark's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, love for his family, and dedication to his community.

Mark's journey began in the close-knit community of Scotia, where he graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1963. His passion for hospitality led him to pursue further education at Paul Smith's School of Hotel Management. Mark proudly served the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1969.
