GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Tighter regulations for Paris Mountain are moving forward, while the future of cluster housing in Greenville County remains uncertain following several public hearings at Tuesday’s County Council meeting.

County officials placed a temporary halt on cluster developments in July to allow time to reevaluate current regulations.
Cluster housing is often seen as beneficial for a growing municipality, offering more open space and affordable housing. But some local residents and county officials say developers aren’t holding up their end of the bargain.
Resident Audrey Pasin spoke during Tuesday’s public hearing, highlighted South Carolina’s Local Government Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act .
“It’s a mouthful,” Pasin said about th
