A Missoula man charged with raping two 14-year-old boys appeared in Missoula County District Court on Tuesday.

Justin Pettit was charged on June 30 with two counts of sexually assaulting a child, four counts of rape, two counts of being a child prostitution client, one count of sexual abuse of children for possession of material and one count of drug distribution, all felonies. He was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of unlawful transaction with children. He made an initial appearance on Tuesday morning in front of Judge Jason Marks.

According to charging documents, two friends, identified as John and Alex Doe to protect their identity, now 17, both reported that Pettit had sexually assaulted and harassed them around three years ago between the ages of about 13 and 15. Documents
