DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Big weather changes are on the way back to Central Illinois.

Ahead of a strong cold front today, we'll see increasing clouds, breezy conditions, and highs in the low-to-mid-80s.

Showers and storms will accompany that front this afternoon into tonight.

It'll be much cooler Thursday with highs only in the low-70s.

Another cold front drops through the area Friday bringing a few showers. It'll also keep the cooler air in place into the weekend.

Highs will be in the 70s with lows in the 40s.
