The biggest QB revenge game in Week 1 of the NFL season comes in East Rutherford when Justin Fields and the Jets host Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.
Rodgers notably left the Jets after two seasons when he chose the Steelers in free agency to be their new starting QB for his 21st and final season earlier this summer.
With Rodgers already having one foot out the door earlier this spring, the Jets signed free agent Justin Fields -- who started the first six games at QB for the Steelers last season -- this past offseason to be the new signal caller for Gang Green.
Now these two QBs and teams meet to open the 2025 season in the Meadowlands as one of the must-see games in the eight-game early slate.
