The Sun Chronicle says this about getting the COVID-19 vaccine while we still can:
The current presidential administration has cut back on the number of Americans eligible for free COVID-19 vaccines.
As of this writing, all senior citizens are still eligible to receive shots from Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax.
However, the shots are recommended for only younger adults and children who have at least one high-risk health condition.
Diabetes, asthma, liver disease, kidney disease, immunosuppression, smoking, and obesity, which afflicts approximately 40% of the population, are all higher-risk conditions that are within the approved use.
The FDA also changed Pfizer’s vaccine to no longer be available for any child under age 5, as it revoked the shot’s emergency authorization for that age gro
