If you find yourself in Walt Disney World’s DinoLand U.S.A. inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom anytime soon, you might want to know that one of its major attractions, along with the rest of DinoLand, will be going extinct next year.
DINOSAUR will permanently close on Feb. 2, 2026, meaning that the last time you will get to experience the ride as well as the rest of DinoLand U.S.A. will be Feb. 1, 2026, according to the theme park’s page on the ride.
The closure of the ride and the rest of that section of Animal Kingdom was first announced in 2024 at the D23 2024: Ultimate Disney Fan Event .
