WEYMOUTH, Mass. — A Massachusetts man accused of killing a Portland man and leaving his body outside a hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, made his first court appearance Tuesday.
Christopher Caron was arraigned in Plymouth County court on a murder charge in the death of 31-year-old Declan Perry of Portland.
Prosecutors said the two men arranged to meet at Caron’s home before traveling to Boston on Aug. 22 to obtain fentanyl and cocaine. Overnight, they noted, Caron searched online for Narcan and asked a friend to bring the overdose reversal drug to his home.
The next day, Perry’s body was left outside a hospital. Prosecutors said an autopsy showed injuries consistent with blunt force trauma and suggested Perry may have been strangled before he died.
