Hello, curling fans. For those who don’t know me yet, I’m Ty Dilello — a professional curler who also doubles as a reporter with the Winnipeg Sun. This season, I’ll be taking you behind the scenes of the curling world each week. Once my own year gets going this fall, I’ll even regal you with tales from the road as I skip my team out of Newfoundland and Labrador in our hopes of returning to the Brier. But for now, I want to talk about an exciting kickoff to the 2025-26 curling season for one of my favourite former teammates.
