ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions are entering another season with big expectations as Super Bowl contenders and as one of the top dogs in the NFC.

Detroit’s road doesn’t get any easier, with a truly daunting schedule ahead that starts with a bang this weekend in Green Bay. The Lions have a chance to win their third straight NFC North crown, which has not happened in Detroit since 1952-1954 when they did it in the NFL National Division.
