Minerpalooza returns to the University of Texas at El Paso campus at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, marking its 35th year as one of the university’s signature traditions. The free, family-friendly event, which takes place in the parking lots north of Sun Bowl Stadium, draws thousands of students and community members with live performances, food vendors, games and attractions, including Pete’s Playground for younger attendees.
