NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Niagara SPCA is inviting the community to get into the Halloween spirit by participating in its upcoming Howl-O-Wheelin' event on Friday, October 17.

The event will take place at the Niagara SPCA, located at 2100 Lockport Road in Niagara Falls.

The organization is seeking volunteers to serve as scare characters for the Haunted Hayride, running from 7 to 11 p.m., as well as participants with decorated vehicles for the Trunk-or-Treat portion, from 5 to 7 p.m. Scare characters include witches, zombies, ghosts, goblins, or even a "chainsaw-wielding maniac."
