FARGO — Scribble Lady is about to color outside the lines of Fargo.

After three years in downtown Fargo, Scribble Lady— the queer-owned art shop founded by Hannah Stelter— is relocating to Chicago this fall, where it plans to expand its canvas.

The downtown storefront at 408 Broadway will close Oct. 17, but founder Hannah Stelter emphasizes that this is not the end for Scribble Lady. Instead, she calls the move a “natural evolution.”

While the physical shop prepares to shut its doors, the online store at scribblelady.com will remain open, operating out of Stelter's new home in Chicago. The transition will allow her to focus on creating new products and continue to promote the brand's message: You Belong.
