Two more photo-radar cameras will soon be operating in Brant County.

The county says cameras will be active this fall on Mt. Pleasant Road near Mt. Pleasant School and in St. George on Beverly Street near Arena Road and St. George German Elementary School.

No specific date was given for the cameras to start operating but a county notice says signs will be posted once they are active.

This will bring the number of photo-radar cameras in Brant to three.

The first one, which went live in February, is westbound on Silver Street in Paris, in front of North Ward Elementary School – a stretch that got up to 4,659 monthly incidents of speeding, the municipality said.
