As teased earlier this summer, a sprawling box set of Hüsker Dü playing live in 1985 is now officially on its way.
Numero Group, an archival record label out of Chicago, has unveiled a four-LP box set dubbed Hüsker Dü's 1985: The Miracle Year, which will be released on Nov. 7.
The collection is centered around a January 1985 set at First Avenue, which was originally planned as a live album, but was never released.
The recording, once thought to have been lost in a house fire, captures the trio of Bob Mould, Grant Hart, and Greg Norton coming off their seminal record Zen Arcade and performing in a year that would see the release of both New Day Rising and Flip Your Wig.
